How to create a scheduling poll without signing up
Finding a date together shouldn't require anyone to create an account. With Calenoo, the organizer only provides an email address to receive their links, and guests respond by opening a link. Here is how to do it, step by step.
1. Pick a duration and drop your slots
Set the length of the meeting (15 minutes, one hour, half a day…), then click on the calendar to drop your slots. On mobile, you add them in a list view.
Three to five slots are usually enough: enough to give a choice, few enough for everyone to reply quickly.
2. Give your email, not a password
Calenoo asks for neither an account nor a password. Your address is only used to send you two links: the link to share with your guests, and the admin link, which lets you see the responses and confirm the date. Keep this one for yourself.
3. Share the link
Send the link by email, messaging app or chat. You can also invite your participants from the admin view: each one receives an invitation translated into the poll's language.
4. Your guests respond in a few seconds
- They enter their name, then mark “Available”, “Maybe” or “Unavailable” for each slot.
- Email is optional: it is only used to receive confirmation of the selected date.
- A personal link lets them edit their response until the date is confirmed.
- The poll is displayed in French, German, English or Italian.
5. Confirm the date
Calenoo highlights the best slot based on the responses. Confirm it: participants who left their email receive a calendar invitation (.ics) compatible with Outlook, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Thunderbird and Proton Calendar. You can add a location or a Jitsi video call link that is created automatically.
And what about your data?
Calenoo is published in Switzerland and hosts its data in Switzerland. No ads, no data resale. Inactive polls are automatically deleted after 90 days.
