Calendly alternatives: a comparison of booking pages
Calendly popularized the booking page: you share a link and the people you meet with choose a free slot. Its free plan is limited, however. Here are the main alternatives, compared on verifiable criteria.
Comparison compiled on 4 October 2026 from each publisher's official pages (pricing, help center, privacy policy). Offers change: check the current terms on their website. Calenoo is the tool we publish.
The criteria that matter
- What the free plan actually allows: number of appointment types, reminders, branding removal.
- The number of calendars the tool checks to avoid double bookings.
- Automatic creation of a video call link.
- The entry-level price if the free plan isn't enough.
- The publisher and where the data is hosted, which matters for Swiss companies subject to the Swiss FADP.

Calendly
The free plan includes one appointment type and one connected calendar. Automatic reminders, removal of the Calendly branding and redirects after booking are reserved for paid plans, starting at 10 USD or 10 EUR per seat per month with annual billing (no CHF pricing). According to its help center, data is stored in data centers in the United States.
Cal.com
The free plan is generous for a single user: unlimited appointment types and calendars. Branding removal starts with the Teams plan, at 12 USD per user per month.
Worth knowing: Cal.com went closed source in April 2026. Only the community edition, Cal.diy, remains open source (MIT license), for self-hosting only. The European instance, Cal.eu, closes on 1 November 2026.
Google Calendar and Microsoft Bookings
With a personal Google account, Google Calendar lets you publish a booking calendar. Several pages, automatic email reminders and checking across several calendars require a Google One Premium or Google Workspace subscription.
Microsoft Bookings is included in many professional Microsoft 365 subscriptions (Business Basic, Standard, Premium, E3…), with Teams for video calls. It is not sold on its own, and the Microsoft 365 Personal and Family plans are not on the official list.
Zcal, TidyCal and Calenso
Zcal offers a broad free plan (unlimited calendars, email reminders, video calls), with a 3% commission on Stripe payments on the free plan. TidyCal limits its free plan to one calendar, with no automatic video calls, and sells a license as a one-time payment.
Calenso is a Swiss publisher that hosts its data in Switzerland. It is aimed mainly at businesses: a 14-day trial, then a quote-based plan.
Calenoo
Calenoo brings the booking page and the scheduling poll together in a single tool, free and without restrictions. Recurring availability, buffers before and after, maximum meetings per day, a day-before reminder, rescheduling or cancellation by the guest, and embedding on your website with a link or a floating button.
The tool is published in Neuchâtel, hosted in Switzerland, ad-free, and available in French, German, English and Italian. It links with Google, Microsoft / Outlook, Apple iCloud and Infomaniak calendars.
